Las Vegas SEO services, priced on published evidence

Pricing is where most search engagements go wrong, not because agencies are dishonest but because almost nobody is comparing the same thing. One quote is a retainer, another is a retainer plus a setup fee, a third bundles ad management as a share of spend. This page is about the money specifically: how published prices in this index are recorded, what each element of a quote actually covers, and how to normalise three Las Vegas proposals into numbers that can sit next to each other on one line. Every figure in the index comes from an agency's own published page with the date we read it.

How to normalise a Las Vegas quote

  1. Pull the setup fee out of the retainer. Many published prices are a monthly retainer plus a one-off onboarding or audit fee. Restate every quote as first-year total and steady-state monthly, because a low retainer with a large setup fee often costs more in year one than the headline suggests.
  2. Separate ad spend from management. If paid search is in scope, record media spend separately from the fee to manage it, and record whether that fee is flat or a percentage. A percentage fee rises when your budget rises, which is worth knowing before the budget rises.
  3. Price content by the unit. Ask how many pages per month the retainer includes, who writes them and how long they are. Content is the largest variable cost in most engagements, so two quotes that differ by half usually differ mainly here rather than in expertise.
  4. Ask who implements. A quote that includes shipping technical fixes to the live site is worth more than one that delivers recommendations for your developer to schedule. Record which you are buying, because unimplemented advice earns nothing while the retainer continues.

What published prices do and do not tell you

Only a minority of agencies publish any price at all, and the ones that do tend to sell to small businesses where the number is part of the competition. That makes published floors useful as a reference point and misleading as a forecast: a floor names an entry scope, usually narrow local work, and the same agency's larger programs can run many times higher. The index records the floor, what it is stated to include, and the date, so the entry price is not mistaken for the likely bill.

An agency publishing nothing is not automatically a worse choice. Scoped enterprise work is genuinely hard to price on a web page. But it does mean your comparison begins with a sales call rather than a document, so it is worth deciding in advance how many of those calls you are willing to spend, and on whom.

What legitimately raises the number in this market

Category competition raises it most. Las Vegas has a dense field in injury law, addiction treatment, cosmetic medicine and commercial trades, and in those categories the content and authority investment required to move is genuinely larger. Multi-location coverage across the valley raises it, since each area needs real content rather than a template with the place name swapped. Implementation responsibility raises it, and should.

What should not raise it is a longer list of low-value units. Ten thin pages cost less to produce and earn less than two substantial ones. When two quotes differ sharply, ask each agency to price the identical scope you define, then compare those two numbers rather than the bundles they arrived with.

Questions people actually ask

Why will some agencies not publish a price?
Because most engagements are scoped individually and publishing a floor invites price-shopping on a number that may not reflect the work. The index labels who publishes and who does not, so you can decide where to spend your sales calls.
Is a cheaper Las Vegas retainer a red flag?
Not by itself. A genuinely narrow scope should cost less. It becomes a red flag when the low price is attached to a long deliverables list, because something in that list is being produced at a quality nobody would defend if you read it.
Should paid media management be a percentage of spend?
It aligns the agency with spending more of your budget, which is worth naming out loud. Flat fees avoid that but can under-price a fast-growing account. Either way, agree in writing what happens to the fee when spend doubles.
How do I compare a bundle against a single-channel quote?
Decompose the bundle. Ask the agency to price each channel separately, then compare channel by channel. A bundle that cannot be decomposed is a bundle you cannot evaluate, and that is usually deliberate.
